What to Expect

Week 4 is about origin: ancestry, lineage, and cultural heritage. These photos are about the people, places, and things that shaped you. The objects that got passed down. The history you carry whether you think about it or not.

I would like to invite subjects to bring something with them: a piece of clothing, an heirloom, something that belonged to someone else first.

Set Design

  • A contained earth patch (moss, soil, wildflowers) to stand within

  • A botanical installation cascading from ceiling to floor above you

  • Wide shots that show the full installation with you small beneath it

  • Close-ups of hands, faces, and anything you bring with you

  • Inherited clothing or objects are welcome; worn, held, or placed in frame
