fits & feelings

Week 6 | August 21st & 22nd

we are a museum of everything we've ever loved.

What to Expect

So much of who we are gets expressed before we ever speak a word.

The way you get dressed in the morning, the objects you choose to keep close, the music you put on when people come into your space, these aren't trivial choices. They're a form of self-expression that's been quietly, consistently reflecting your inner world back to you. That jacket you've held onto for seven years? There's a reason it's still there. Those shoes you saved for? That was an act of self-worth.

For Week 6, I'd like to invite you to make that process visible and intentional. Bring the outfit that feels most authentically like you. Bring the objects that hold meaning. Show up as the version of yourself you've been building over the course of your life.

And if you're not sure where to start sometimes just emptying your bag onto a table tells you everything you need to know. We'll make it work!

Set Design

  • A bold, high contrast single color backdrop (final color to be announced!)

  • Flat-lay shots from directly overhead: you lying down, surrounded by everything you brought, arranged like an archive of yourself

  • Your objects treated as compositional elements: music gear, books, clothing, food, tools, anything that tells your story
